Mission

The mission of Delhi School of Business (DSB) is to equip students with skill-based, practical business management knowledge and analytical skills and develop their capacity to lead domestic and global organisations through adaptability, innovation and creativity.

DSB facilitates the realization of the inherent potential in each student through experiential education that leads the individual towards a self-motivated path in aspiring for perfection, personal success, professional achievement and responsible citizenship. To these ends, we:

  • Prepare our students for ever changing business requirements.

We equip our students with

M1- skill-based practical business management knowledge, through skill based courses on Communication and Negotiation.

M2- analytical skills, through courses on Quantitative Methods and Business Research Methods.

M3- capacity to lead domestic organizations, through specialized skills in various functional areas.

M4- capacity to lead Global Organizations, through courses providing global exposure on International Business, International Finance Management, and Cross Cultural Management.

M5– adaptability, through students’ exposure to a large number of cases and problems in their different subjects of study.

M6– innovation, to foster new ways of thinking to deal with unforeseen business situations and problems

M7– creativity to think out of the box solutions and new options for arriving at solutions to business problems.

Further, actual business situations are never the same as taught in the classroom and depicted in the textbooks. The skills and knowledge imparted have to be used with a proper understanding of the context and the background of the actual situation being faced by the manager.

Innovation and Creativity are nurtured through the problem solving approach adopted by DSB.
