Strategies for Emerging Leaders Programme, IIM Bangalore

The Students and Faculty of Delhi School of Business attended a certification program in IIM, Bangalore on “Strategies for Emerging Leaders Programme” from 19th – 22nd Nov, 2018. Prior to attending the workshop, the students were given a primer on Marketing by Prof. Sanjay Kumar and on Organisation Behaviour by Prof. Ashok Bhattacharya.

October 6th & 7th in the Campus

Delhi School of Business conducted a Google Analytics workshop on October 6 and 7 in the Campus. The workshop was conducted by DigitalU with the help of Prof. Gaurav Sarin. The workshop was attended by both 1st and 2nd year students and proved to be beneficial as it taught the students the importance of Analytics and how one can use it to understand the target audience and how to reach out to them and at the same time maximizing the efforts of the Digital Marketing Campaigns.

The students were also provided with the participation certificate.

DSB participates at the National HRD Network summit at New Delhi from 14th to 15th September, 2018

The National Human Resource Development Network Summit 2018 was held in New Delhi on 14th and 15th September 2018, and was co-hosted by the Delhi School of Business. The summit was a meeting point for academicians and corporate leaders which led to a confluence of ideas for discussion. Mr. S.Y. Siddiqui, Executive Advisor (Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.) delivered the inaugural address and Prof. Ashok Bhattacharya (Delhi School of Business) delivered the special address.

The topics discussed were opportunities and challenges in the human resource arena in a digital economy and how organizations can get ready for the Gig economy. Prof. Shoma Mukherji (Delhi School of Business) participated as a panelist in the discussion on the changing landscape of talent and competencies and on how to spot, nurture and retain employees. Other discussions revolved around how to manage disruptive innovation and on how workplace values and culture are changing and how to shape them in a sustainable and responsible manner.

The summit was an enriching experience for one and all. It concluded with ‘Ru-ba-Roo’ an interactive session among the participants of various age groups. This was appreciated by all as it gave an insight into diverse perspectives resulting in enhancement of mutual respect and cooperation at the workplace.

The exemplary service rendered by DSB students who were managing the event under the supervision of NHRDN staff was appreciated by all.
