The HR Conclave, hosted by Delhi School of Business, featured an enriching session headlined by Mr. Amit Mallik, Chief People, Operations, and Customer Service Officer at Aviva Life Insurance. He delivered the keynote address on ‘Critical Competencies from Business School Graduates – Industry Perspectives.‘ His valuable insights set the tone for the subsequent illuminating panel discussions. The first, focused on the IT & ITES industry, was moderated by Dr. V Venkata Rao, a respected professor from IIM Ahmedabad. Industry figures such as Mr. Dinesh Singh, Global BD Head at Oracle, Mr. Mrityunjay Rohit, Talent Acquisition Lead at Amazon, and Mr. Vikas Dua, VP HR at Aegis Global, contributed to the discourse. Another impactful discussion, centered on the start-up sector, was led by Professor Ravi Ojha of IMI Delhi. Panelists, including Mr. Sumit Kumar, CEO of Heads Up Corporation, Mr. Utsav Bhattacharjee, Co-Founder of Reculta, and Dr. Maninder Singh, HR & Learning Consultant at Learn Biz Solutions, shared their unique perspectives and insights.

HR Conclave, hosted by the Delhi School of Business, was an important gathering of influential industry figures. The event was highlighted by the keynote address from Mr. M C Sameer, the Managing Director of ITC Fortune Hotels. His in-depth discussion revolved around ‘Industry Expectations from Fresh Business School Graduates.’ Through his address, he unveiled a nuanced picture of the recruitment realm, setting forth the expectations the industry had for the promising business graduates of the Delhi School of Business. Adding to the insightful discourse were esteemed panelists, Mr. Sriram A Kunnathur, Senior Manager of People Strategies at Sapient Technologies, and Mr. Vikas Dua, Senior Group Leader HR at Concentrix. The dialogue was skillfully steered by Prof. Ravi Shankar from IIT Delhi, who took on the role of moderator, fostering an enriching and interactive exchange for the students.

HR Conclave, a prestigious event at the Delhi School of Business, was graced by the esteemed presence of our Chief Guest, Air Chief Marshal B.S. Dhanoa, the then Chief of Air Staff. Central to the Conclave was the insightful discourse on ‘Career Building for Leadership.’ His extensive wisdom set the stage for our audience, delineating the steps towards robust career development with a leadership focus. Insights from industry professionals added further depth, with profound inputs from Prof MR Dixit, retired from IIM Ahmedabad, Mr. Ashok Agarwal, CEO & MD of Escorts Securities, Dr. Swaroop Sinha, Principal of ITC Ltd. Hotels Division ITC Hospitality Mgt Inst, and Mr. Praduymna Pandey, VP-HR at JK Tyres Ltd. The academic outlook was equally compelling, featuring contributions from Prof J.L. Gupta from DSB-VIPS TC, Prof S. Manikuty, retired from IIM, Ahmedabad, and again, Prof MR Dixit, retired from IIM Ahmedabad.

The Delhi School of Business hosted the HR Conclave, focusing on the critical theme, ‘Expectations and Challenges in HR – A Sectoral Perspective‘. We were privileged to have industry leaders such as Mr. Abhijeet Banerji, VP HR at Nomura Services, and Prof. Sunil Maheshwari from IIM Ahmedabad join us. The event was highlighted by the thought-provoking talk delivered by the chief guest, Prof. T.V. Rao, a distinguished former professor at IIMA and Chairman of TVRLS. Prof. Rao, utilizing his extensive expertise, led the discussion, providing students with invaluable insights. His discourse served as a comprehensive guide, taking attendees on a deep dive into the nuances and intricacies of the constantly evolving HR landscape.
