PROF. Divya Bajpai

Prof. Divya Bajpai holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Management as major and Marketing as minor, with a focus on Consumer Behavior, Marketing research from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta in 2016. She completed her B.A. in Psychology major, Sociology and Political Science as minor subjects and M.A. in Psychology from The Maharaja Sayajirao University (M.S.U) of Baroda. She also holds Master of Personnel Management (MPM) from INDSEARCH, University of Pune. She qualified for UGC-NET in Management in 2017.

Prof. Bajpai teaches Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, elective courses in HRM and Business Research Methods at SB. Ever since her association in 2017, she has also taught Consumer Behavior and Marketing Research.

Prof. Bajpai has completed various doctoral courses, participated in national and international conferences, workshops across different fields in management, research and social sciences. She has studied at Bryn Mawr College, University of Pennsylvania, with professors from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC, IIM Ahmedabad, and completed workshops conducted by faculty from ISB Hyderabad on teaching and Singapore Management University in case methods.
Her doctoral dissertation was on a study of The Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995 with perspectives drawn from neo-institutional theory, welfare theory, Sen’s capability approach, organizational change, public private partnerships and employment research. With her intellectual flair, she has also written on policy implementation, PPP in rehabilitation sector, organizational change for diversity and inclusion, factors in employability of persons with disabilities. She knows software such as SPSS, NVIVO, ATLAS.ti and R.

As a student, Prof. Bajpai held a full-scholarship to be part of Takemi Program in International Health at Harvard School of Public Health in 2013-14. She also had an offer of Andrews Fellowship to be a part of the 2-month Summer Institute of Survey Research, University of Michigan in 2014. She has presented papers at national and international conference. In the past, Prof. Bajpai has worked on a project from MHRD on improving public grievance redressal system in higher education at Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Delhi and taught as a visiting faculty at Symbiosis Law School, Noida.
