Children’s Day Celebration

The Cultural Club of Delhi School of Business – Ekagra organized a Children’s Day Celebration on 14th November 2025 at Pratigya Educational Initiative Society. The event was conducted with great enthusiasm and joy to spread happiness among children and to honor the legacy of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who believed in nurturing young minds with love and education.

Celebrated on October 17th, 2025, in C-Block 9th Floor at 11.00 a.m., the students and faculty came together to celebrate this joyful event with the lighting of diyas which was the showstealer of the event

Independence Day Celebration

Ekagra, the Cultural Club of Delhi School of Business, celebrated Independence Day on 14th August 2025 at the DSB Campus Auditorium under the theme “Spirit of Freedom.” The event featured patriotic songs, dances, a skit, and a shayari session, concluding with the National Anthem and instilling a strong sense of pride and patriotism among the audience.

Coordinated by Ekagra, the Cultural Club of DSB, “Talent Hunt” was an inter-college event held on July 28, 2023, at Vivekananda Hall, B Block from 1:00 pm onwards. There were 30 participants in all 6 categories of poetry recitation, stand-up comedy, dance, music, and magic show. With so many students the event was a beautiful blend of diverse talents

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav 

The Student Activity Club (SAC) at our institute organized Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on August 29, 2022, at 3:15 PM in the Auditorium of Block B. This event was the celebration of 75 years of India’s independence. It aims to commemorate the sacrifices and struggles of our freedom fighters and inspire the younger generation to contribute to the growth of the nation. The event started with an introduction by the SAC Chairperson, followed by an address by the Director. After that, an award ceremony was conducted, and all coordinators, joint coordinators, and participants received certificates of appreciation. The coordinators then introduced the SAC clubs formally. All the coordinators, joint coordinators and participants were given a certificate of appreciation.

Surmaya 2K21

SAC organized an inter-college event, ‘SURMAYA 2K21’during November 15-19, 2021. The event was coordinated by ‘Ekagra’ the Cultural Club Of DSB. There were 75 participants in all 6 categories. The event received participation from PAN India institutes like Chandigarh University, Delhi University, Xaviers Institute of Social Service, Institute of Hotel Management, Birla Institute of Management and Technology, Jagannath Institute of Management Studies including host institute Delhi School of Business.

Mindbea

SAC organised “MindBea”, an intra-college event which was coordinated and executed by EKAGRA- The Cultural club of DSB on 24th September 2021. The participants were from batches 2020-22 & 2021- 2023. Total 17 students participated in the event. The event consisted of three rounds; Round 1 was the Quiz round in which songs and dialogues of the movies were to be identified. Top 10 participants reached Round 2 in which the short-listed participants had to guess movies based on the costumes shown.

Surmaya- The Inter College Event

‘Ekagra’ – the cultural club of DSB conducted its first intercollege event, “Surmaya”. The registrations began from November 6, 2020 and the participants were required to submit their creative videos on or before November 16 and 21, 2020(as per the respective event’s deadline) ‘Surmaya’ was conducted through 3 events viz. `Chitrangada’- The Rangoli Event, ‘Natraj’- The Dance Event and ‘Moods & Melodies’ – The Singing & Music Event. The club received 21 creative entries in total from institutions like Shiv Nadar University, Delhi Technological University, IITM, IILM, JIMS (sector-5), Symbiosis Institute of Management and Studies, Vivekananda College of Technical and Management-Aligarh, ICFAI, Maharaja Surajmal Institute. Overall, 12 entries were from other institutions and 9 from DSB & VIPS.

Quarentine-E-Bawarchi

‘Quarantine-e-Bawarchi’ The cultural club of Delhi School of Business-Ekagra, conducted its 3rd event- “Quarantine-e-Bawarchi”, on September 6, 2020. This Culinary Event was aimed to unleash culinary skills through social media platforms- Facebook & Instagram. The theme for the event was Tea Time Snacks. The participants were given the details on 25th Aug, 2020 to register, cook and make a time lapse video (which was compulsory) and submit to ‘Ekagra’ club by September 5, 2020 before 11:30 pm (IST). Negative marking was done for the participants who had submitted only pictures of the Tea time Snacks.

E-Tarama

The cultural club ‘Ekagra’ conducted its second event-“E-Tarana”, on 15th August, 2020. E-Tarana aimed to provide platform for singing through social media platforms- Facebook and Instagram The participants were judged for their -Scale, feel, tempo and expressions/dynamics. They could use a digital audio workstation for clear audio if available, but no auto tuning/pitch correction was allowed. Participants could use a backing track/karaoke or musical instruments.

Ekagra Surmaya 2021 Hastkala

Hastkala

The cultural club ‘ Ekagra’ conducted its first event-“HastKala”, on 31st July’2020 HastKala aimed to showcase artworks like- Mandala art, Water color scenery, pencil sketching. The event was conducted online through social media platforms – Instagram and Facebook. The judgement criteria were based on the number of likes and comments a participant receives on their artwork posted by the club on the social media handles. Proper posters, instructions and google forms were sent. The first position was secured by- Nikita Aggarwal(2nd Year) , second position was secured byAnisha Jain(2nd Year) and 3rd position was secured by – Mitali Mittal.(2nd Year) Special Mention prize was awarded to Rishabh Gupta & Srishti Gupta (students of 2nd Year).
