Admission Process

Applicants are required to submit their application online by filling the FPM Application Form available on the Institute’s website.
As part of the application, candidates must submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) of 500 words and a research proposal of 3000-5000 words outlining their proposed area of research and research interests.
Candidates shall submit valid scores from CAT, GMAT, GRE, UGC NET/JRF, XAT/ MAT or GATE examinations. The validity of CAT, XAT and MAT score is limited to 3 years and GMAT, GRE, UGC NET/JRF score is 5 years from date of registration.

Score of Research Aptitude Test conducted by Delhi School of Business (in the absence of CAT / GMAT / GRE / UGC-NET/ UGC-JRF/ GATE / XAT / MAT scores

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic qualifications, relevant work experience, and valid scores in CAT / GMAT / GRE / UGC-NET/ UGC-JRF / GATE / XAT / MAT scores
If a candidate has not appeared for any of the above examinations, a Research Aptitude Test will be conducted for them by the institute on a scheduled date.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to present a Tentative Research Proposal before the Institute’s Selection Committee. Based on the evaluation of the research proposal, eligible candidates will be invited to appear for a Personal Interview.
The final merit list of selected candidates will be announced after the completion of the entire selection process. Offer letters will be issued only to the candidates who are selected for admission.
The decision of the Institute’s Selection Committee regarding admission shall be final and binding, and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
Forms must be accompanied with all the documents mentioned in the form.

- - A candidate must satisfy one of the following educational qualifications:
    - Master’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering and Technology/ Management/ Economics/ Social Science/ Biological Science/ Pure Science/ Commerce/ Humanities with at least 55% marks shall be considered for admission to Fellow Programme.
    - A five-year integrated master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point average
    - Students appearing for their final examination of master’s programs are eligible to apply for the Fellow Program. The admission of these candidates shall remain provisional until they produce the mark sheet proving that they satisfy the eligibility criteria.
