Dr. Nupur Soti is an Assistant Professor of Finance with a Ph.D. in Management from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, an MBA in Financial Markets from the same institution, and a B.Com. (Hons) from University of Delhi. She has also qualified the UGC NET (2021). Beyond academics, Dr. Soti is also a graduate (Sangeet Prabhakar) in Indian Classical Music from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Prayagraj.

Before moving into academia, she worked in industry for about two years as an Associate in Banking Reconciliations and Control department at Fidelity International Pvt. Ltd. In her teaching career to date, she has taught Financial Derivatives, Investment Analysis, Financial Markets, Corporate Finance, and Data Science and Machine Learning for Finance, and has led hands-on training in data analysis using E-Views and Stata.

Her research interests lie in sustainable finance, climate risk mitigation, and econometric policy analysis, examining how globalization, institutional quality, and green finance shape environmental and developmental outcomes across emerging and developed economies, with particular attention to the UN SDG clean energy access and energy poverty. Her research articles have appeared in journals including Management of Environmental Quality, Cogent Economics & Finance, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Renewable Energy among others.
