PROF. Shoma Mukherji

Dr. Shoma Mukherji completed her Masters in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Phoenix, USA.She also holds a PhD in Business Communication from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.

On the professional front, she has been the Head-HR with Mobil Oil Corporation in India and has a total of 30 years corporate experience. She has been a consultant to Defrail Technical Services Pvt. Ltd as well.

Currently, Dr. Mukherji is a Professor of Business Communication at Delhi School of Business-VIPS TC and also teaches Cross Cultural Management and International HRM as well as Leadership and Negotiation. She is also the Chairperson of the PGDM program at DSB. She is a visiting faculty at Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, IIT-Kanpur, IIM-Jammu, Shiv Nadar University, O.P. Jindal University and New Delhi Institute of Management. When not teaching, she conducts workshops for corporates in Leadership Development, Intercultural Communication, Negotiation, Effective Communication and Soft Skills.

Dr. Mukherji’s research interests are in the field of Intercultural Communication, Cultural Intelligence and Leadership Communication. She has several research publications in international journals and has presented papers at international conferences. She also has several book chapters to her credit and has co-authored a book on Effective Business Communication.She is an Associate Editor with Global Advances in Business and Communication Journal and a reviewer for VISION.

Dr. Shoma Mukherji completed a certification in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution from Harvard Law School under their Program on Negotiation. The semester course was held from 27 September 2023 to 13 December 2023.
