Syed Abdullah Ashraf has done B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur in 2012. In 2016, he earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Aligarh Muslim University with a specialization in Operations and Information Management. He began working with Aspiring Minds Assessment Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon as the Assistant Manager Corporate Client Servicing after completing his post-graduation. In 2018, he joined Indian Institute of Management Ranchi for pursuing Ph.D. in Information Systems & Business Analytics. Additionally, he has cleared the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and the UGC-NET for Management. His research has been presented at a number of prestigious national and international conferences, including ACIS, Conf-IRM, and ICBAI (co-hosted by IISc Bangalore and IIM Bangalore), among others. He has also published a paper in the International Journal of Business Information Systems listed in ABDC and scopus. His interest lies in researching and teaching topics related to natural language processing and its use cases in business, machine learning, data analytics, business analytics, and technology adoption in MSMEs.
