Orientation Programme Batch 2022-24
Delhi School of Business commenced the Orientation Program for the PGDM Students of Batch 2022-24 with a three-day event, starting from 16th August 2022. This program was a key step in introducing the new batch to the institution and its ethos, providing an enriching start to their academic journey.
Each session of the three-day Orientation Program was strategically designed to prepare the students for their academic and professional paths at the Delhi School of Business. The program combined insights from industry experts, interactive discussions, and alumni experiences, ensuring exposure to the diverse aspects of the corporate and academic worlds.
The Orientation Program culminated with a sense of enthusiasm and readiness among the students, setting a solid foundation for their forthcoming endeavors at Delhi School of Business. The institution, with its commitment to excellence, continues to foster an environment that nurtures future leaders and professionals.
Day 1 - Orientation Programme Commencement
On 16th August 2022, the first day of the Orientation Program marked the beginning of this insightful journey for the students. The day was filled with engaging sessions and introductory activities that set the tone for the upcoming academic year.
Day 2 - Panel Discussion on Career Opportunities & Trends
On the 17th of August 2022, the second day of the Orientation Program, Delhi School of Business curated a thought-provoking experience for the PGDM Batch 2022-24. The highlight of the day was a Panel Discussion, where esteemed speakers such as Mr. Venkateshwarn G, Ms. Vineeta Kukreti, Mr. Munish Davessar, and Ms. Namrata Mathur shared their valuable insights and knowledge. This panel discussion offered a deep dive into various career opportunities and trends, enriching the students’ understanding of the corporate world.
Alumni Interaction
On 18th August 2022, the third day brought a unique and interactive session for the students. The Alumni Interaction session provided a platform for the first-year students to engage with and learn from the experiences of successful alumni, including Ms. Somya Arora, Mr. Mohit Munjal, Mr. Mukund, Mr. Bikramjeet Singh, and Mr. Rajan Sukhija. This interaction served as a bridge between the past and the present, offering students a glimpse into the successful careers shaped by the institution.
2nd Year Orientation Programme Batch 2022-24
Delhi School of Business welcomed the Batch of 2022-2024 into their second year of PGDM with an Orientation Programme on 28th June 2023. This event marked the beginning of a new academic phase, focusing on course specialization selections. It featured a panel discussion with industry leaders, providing insights on career opportunities and industry trends, and aiding students in making informed career choices.
The panel included Dr. Aparajita Prasad (Director, PWC), Mr. Anil Suneja (Director Finance – Asia, Baxter International Inc), Mr. Dilip Kumar (Co-Founder & Director, Posterity), Mr. Ishan Goel (Associate Director, Wingyfy), Mr. Siddharth Parashar (AVP HR, Windy Street), Mr. Alok Sharma (Managing Partner, Future Leap), and Mr. Munish Davessar (Head-Cargo Business Development, Delhi International Airport Limited).
The Orientation Programme emphasized DSB’s commitment to align education with industry trends. The sessions covered various corporate aspects and skills, offering students comprehensive industry insights.
The program concluded with a networking session, fostering student interactions with speakers and peers, and setting a dynamic stage for the academic year ahead.
