Dr. Rashmi Sharma is Professor – OB & HR at Delhi School of Business. Prior to this appointment, she has worked as Head of the Department & Associate Professor-OB & HR at Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management which is ranked amongst the top B-Schools in India. She has served LBSIM for eleven years. She is Ph.D (Bansathali Vidyapith), MBA (from Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management), and B.A. (Hons) English from University of Delhi. She is a gold medalist from University of Delhi.  World HRD Congress, in their Silver Jubilee Celebration, has felicitated Prof. Rashmi Sharma with the `Best Professor in Human Resource Management’ award. She has more than 24 years of experience working in the corporate and academics. Prof. Sharma has published over 50 research papers in national and international journals and has been a chairperson in an international conference organized at Singapore. Her research interests include social media monitoring, sentiment analysis, achievement motivation, non-verbal communication. As an avid creative writer, she has to her credit several articles published in leading Indian newspapers and American e-magazines. She has also completed an MHRD project of e-Content Development for PG Program in HRM. She has developed the content for the course `Contemporary Issues in HRM and Future Trends’.

In the last 20 years she has delivered more than 153 trainings which includes 53 training sessions/workshops in the last 6 years. She organises and is a key resource person for MDPs organised for middle and senior level managers of India’s leading Public Sector Undertakings like Engineers India Limited, NTPC, IOCL, GAIL and BHEL. In November 2020, she delivered a training – cum- orientation session to Shri  Ajay Vir Jakhar, Chairman, Bharat Krishak Samaj on the topic ‘Changing Dynamics of Modern Communications & Role of Social Media in It’. She has the honour of training visiting delegation from Kenya and has also trained parliamentary delegation from 20 commonwealth countries. She conducted a training session on ‘Psychological Profiling & Access Controls’ for the Senior Security Officers – Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, State Legislatures and has also delivered sessions on ‘Mindfulness and Happiness’ for the senior managers of Lok Sabha.  For the past 18 years, she has been the invited speaker for the MDP organised (for middle and senior level officers of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha) every year by Bureau of Parliamentary Studies and Training. She has delivered 6 times 8 session training modules on the topic: ” Personal Effectiveness & Team Building”; This 8 week training program is organised by Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies, Government of India. Prof. Sharma also delivers invited sessions in reputed institutes like Lady Irwin College(Delhi University), Banasthali Vidaypith, Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya(a State University of Haryana),  to name a few.. She was also invited by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs to train the core campaigning team of the Tribal Minister Mr.Joal Onam. She has conducted workshops on Stress Management, Interpersonal Communication for the personnel of Delhi Police and CRPF, Lok Sabha TV crew, Chief Engineers of MES, Ministry of Defence, women executives of GAIL, Scientists of Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India,  Joint Commissioner rank  IRS(Customs & Excise) officers and has trained students of Delhi University for cracking interviews & group discussion. She is also invited by Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited regularly to train her women executives. Recently (in December 2024) she invited by Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (Erstwhile UGC-HRD Centre) as a resource person for “Online Short-Term Programme on Capacity Building and Academic Leadership” for faculty teaching in higher education institutions (PAN – INDIA). She delivered an online session on “Team Building & HR Management”. The participants were faculty teaching in higher education institutions like BITS(Mesra), Kalindi College (DU), B.R.Ambedkar University(Delhi), Jamia Milia Islamia University (Delhi), Central University of Haryana, Government Degree College ( J&K) to name a few.

She had the privilege of drafting speech for the President(twice) and Vice-President (once) on the occasion of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award held in Rashtrapati Bhawan.
